An huge 18th century limestone wellhead originally from a chateau in France. The overthrow has been added later - 19th century. Fine ironwork and simple. The well head is in great condition. Hugely thick walls, deep grooves where, over generations, water has been drawn up through it for the household. Huge character - you can really feel its life and age through the character of the stone. A special piece.
