Large scale, beautifully carved Portland stone finials with three carved lion heads, they have such a special feel about them, adding hugely to any space.  Portland stone and in top condition.  19th century.  Originating from a large estate in the north of England and probably originally having other pieces on top of them, such as urns or a carved decorative piece.  I love them just as they are, beautiful and statuesque.  Frame an entrance with them - a front door or entrance to the garden, base or top of steps.  Adding meaning, style and character to any space.
