Stunningly beautiful with a magnificent feel to it, this 18th century solid stone urn on pedestal is from central France.  The urn is limestone and unusally oval shaped.  Beautifully carved on a rectangular foot and it sits on a large 3 piece, limestone pedestal.  Octagonal top and bottom with central column.  Late 18th century, possibly early 19th, this is such a joy to have as part of our collection.
