A favourite subject of mine are Antonio Canova's reclining marble lions which guard the tomb of Pope Clement XIII in Rome.  Their faces, strength and quiet disposition is simply beautiful.  I was thrilled to find this small pair of bronze lions, after the antique. They are beautifully cast, the detail is high quality and they have a presence about them despite their small size.  It has been a joy to have them.
