These terms or sculptured pillars form part of a collection of wonderful, very old, English leadwork that is truly exceptional.  Made using the lost wax process which is how all of the very best original lead pieces were made. It is very rare to find such quality pieces available for sale.  

Here we have a pair of satyrs.  Each pillar or column tapers to a narrow base and is headed up with the body of a satyr.  Each is different.   Unusually the body of these are detailed right down to the feet.  They have been in storage for many years and are now available for sale.
